If you are a big movie and TV buff like me you must be know well that wearing wigs as a part of a costume have a deep history and till now it stays to use as a parts of an actor’s image what is also absolutely not new for movie stars. If you remember Sean Connery wore a wig in all of his Bond films.

It seams that he has started to use to wear monofilament wigs in Bond films since FRWL (1963) or maybe even earlier than in From Russia With Love. Also Humphrey Bogart, David Niven, John Wayne (in his later years),Jimmy Stewart, Fred Astaire, and Gene Kelly did it, to say nothing of such movie superstar as Marlene Dietrich which used real gold dust sprinkling into her wigs to add glitter to her tresses during filming and not only and no wonder!

You must admit that when there is not enough time it is much easier to put on an already styled wig than to style your own hair. In such case wearing wigs is really best solution and and today they’re as popular as ever not only for movie stars.
